Critical Updates:
🚨 Expect very limited availability on figs this week as suppliers work through an unexpected supply gap.
🚨 Despite some improvement, iceberg, romaine, and romaine hearts remain in tight supply due to ongoing disease pressure. Expect elevated pricing to continue.
🚨Cantaloupe and honeydew remain in very short supply as California ramps up. Relief is expected in 2–3 weeks.

📈Price Increases📈
These items have surged in price this week:
PEELED GARLIC (2531) - Transition to the new Chinese garlic crop, combined with container delays, has tightened supply and pushed prices higher. Expect elevated pricing through July.
BLACKBERRIES (2191) - Poor yields and increased demand have tightened supply, driving prices higher.
ASPARAGUS (2093) - Final week of Ontario supply before transitioning back to Mexico. Expect elevated pricing during the changeover.
CORN (2374) - Pricing is up as U.S. supply tightens ahead of the transition to local Ontario product within the next 12 days.
📉Price Drops📉
These items have dropped in price this week:
KOHLRABI (2611) - Local season has started, bringing prices down.
LEAF, ROMAINE & ICEBERG LETTUCE (2696, 2683, 3247, 2683, 2661, 2687, 2689, 2647, 2655) - Lettuce quality is good, but supply remains limited. Some short-term pricing relief is expected.
FENNEL (1790) - Higher field yields have increased supply, putting downward pressure on pricing.
JUMBO HONEYDEW (2570) - Improved yields of larger sizes have increased supply. Expect availability to continue improving and prices to ease.
🚩Last Week's Shorts:🚩
Blackberries | 2191 - Back in stock after quality-related supply gaps. Expect fair quality this week, with some red cells and softness due to poor yields.
Thai Red Chili Peppers | 3025 -Supply remains tight following quality issues at origin. Limited shipments are arriving from the Dominican Republic, with local product still about four weeks away.
Baby Leeks | 3739 -Last week's short supply was caused by increased demand and quality rejections at origin.
Red Watercress | 4479 - Rain has impacted harvests, and the shipper continues to short our orders sporadically.
Castelvetrano Olives | 7530 - Short due to shipment delay.
