Welcome to the Bondi Weekly Market Report — your go-to for all the highs & lows of the week.

The first snowfall’s officially hit, Bondi HQ is getting its Christmas makeover this week, and the cooler temps mean one thing: holiday season mode is so on. And we're here for it.

Some of our favourite holiday ingredients have either landed or are landing in the next few weeks — specialty Italian radicchios, blood oranges and Cara Caras, fresh Italian chestnuts, white truffles — it's the most wonderful time of the year!

📈Price Increases📈

These items have surged in price this week:

  • BLOOD ORANGE (4152) - Now transitioning into the new USA crop.
  • GAILAN (2515) - Local season is winding down, limited availability out of Mexico.
  • COLLARD GREENS (2369) - In transition between U.S. and Mexican crops, with limited availability driving pricing volatility.
  • CELERY STALKS (2317) -Supply remains very light but expected to improve next week. 
  • ROMAINE LETTUCE USA (2696) - Critically short with poor quality; no improvement expected until next week.
  • THAI GREEN CHILI PEPPER (3024) - Transitioning to new crop out of the Dominican Republic. 
  • EGGPLANT (2478) - Georgia season has finished, and Florida & Mexico volumes remain limited due to cooler weather.
  • GREEN SEEDLESS GRAPES (2548) - Reduced availability from late-season U.S. green grapes is driving higher costs.
  • SUGAR SNAP PEA (2973) - Limited availability on snow and snap peas from Peru and Guatemala due to rain-related quality issues in the growing regions. Pricing on Chinese product is rising as a result.
  • GRAPEFRUIT (6450) - Market adjusting as the South African season winds down.

  • COCONUT (2367) - Improved supply are bringing prices down.
  • ASPARAGUS (2093) - Volumes are picking up, with better availability this week.
  • CLEMENTINES (2358) - Market adjusting as end-of-season volumes improve.
  • SHISHITO PEPPERS (3019) - Florida crops have started, but costs are expected to rise gradually as temperatures cool.
  • BLACKBERRIES (2191) - Slightly better availability has helped ease pricing.
  • CAULIFLOWER (2301) - Slightly better availability has helped ease pricing.
  • TOMATO CLUSTER (7382) - Improved greenhouse yields leading to stronger supply.
  • TOMATO KUMATO (3424) - Improved greenhouse yields leading to stronger supply.
  • GREEN FANCY ZUCCHINI & YELLOW ZUCCHINI (5490 & 3551) - Mexican production is up significantly, outpacing seasonal demand.
