September in Toronto is in full swing: kids in classrooms, patios still buzzing as we soak in the final days of summer, and the Gardiner looking more like a parking lot than a highway. 

But, things don’t slow down at Bondi just because the season's shifting — we’ve got big news dropping later this week, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it!

📈 What’s Up?: Good news — not many price hikes to report this week (yay!). The only one worth flagging is Boiron fruit purées, which are climbing thanks to higher freight costs.

📉 What’s Down?: Lower prices this week on iceberg, romaine, peppers, and kiwi as supplies improve and crops stay steady.

📈Price Increases📈

These items have surged in price this week:

  • BOIRON FRUIT PUREES - We're seeing price increases across our Boiron fruit purees driven by higher freight costs and shifting dollar exchange rates.

📉Price Decreases📉

These items have dropped in price this week:

  • ICEBERG & ROMAINE LETTUCE (2647, 2655, 2689 & 2696) - Pricing eased slightly this week, though supply remains light and demand steady

  • ORANGE & YELLOW PEPPERS (3000 & 3028) - Solid supply from fields and greenhouses on yellow and orange peppers. Stability should hold for another 2–3 weeks.

Bennett's Apple Cider | Code 1828 (4L) & 1829 (4/4L)

Pressed fresh from Ontario apples, Bennett’s cider is back and ready to bring the season onto your menus. Its crisp sweetness is a natural match for pork and poultry, an easy depth-builder in braises, and a bright layer in vinaigrettes.

  • Sprout Amaranth | Code 3266 — Limited availability on sprout amaranth as strong demand and weaker yields strain supply.
  • Yellow Zucchini | Code 3551 — Temporary blip, back in stock now!
  • Prune Plums | Code 11689 — Finished for the season.
